| How Golfnetics Was Created |
While playing golf on a full-ride scholarship at Pepperdine University, Randall endured a car accident that left his right arm partially paralyzed and in chronic pain. For years Randall saw countless physicians and tried numerous forms of therapy with zero success. Eventually some of the world's most respected specialists told Randall that he would never regain the full use of his right arm and would live the rest of his life in chronic pain. Randall realized that if he was ever going to use his arm again he would need to find methods, concepts and techniques that weren't taught or practiced in traditional medicine and therapy. Randall traveled the world learning from some of the best minds in neuro-muscular science which led to the creation of Bionetics™, an integrated system of neuro-muscular science, assessment, restoration and exercise designed to maximize human performance.
Randall used Bionetics™ to get his arm to work properly again and release himself from pain, which facilitated his return to playing golf, competing around the world, and winning professionally. Randall combined the science of Bionetics™ with his in depth professional knowledge of the golf swing to create Golfnetics™, an integrated system of professional instruction, bio-analysis and corrective exercise that maximizes human performance for golf.
Randall knew that his system worked for himself, but was curious to see how it would work with others, so he began using his knowledge of the golf swing and body with players on the PGA Tour. In Randall's first year on the PGA Tour, a player that he worked with jumped from 43rd to 8th in the world. Another player, in less than six months of working with Randal, won his first professional major championship. Randall's clientele ranged from the oldest player on the PGA Tour to the youngest player on the PGA Tour. His clients had different body types and swing mechanics, which helped Randall understand how to adapt his unique knowledge to different types of golfers.
Though Randall's system worked for PGA Tour Professionals, he wanted to see how Golfnetics™ would work with other players. He began working with a mini-tour player, who like Randall, was told that his golf career was over because of an injury. In less than a month of Golfnetics™, this athlete was able to play golf pain free. In less than three months, he attained his first professional win. In less than a year, he was playing on the PGA Tour. During his years working on the PGA Tour as a bio- performance specialist, Randall co-founded Back9 Performance in the Jim Mclean Center Texas, which became a Golf Digest top 25 golf academy and the no.1 golf academy in Texas.
